The customer produces a very popular small 1.5 to 2.5 ton commercial utility truck. The truck\u2019s engine is mounted between the driver and passenger seats where it emits a considerable amount of noise and heat into the cabin. The customer requested a solution to reduce the heat transmission and improve the acoustic NVH (noise vibration and harshness) signature of the vehicle.<\/p>\n<p>The L&amp;L team was able to meet the customer\u2019s needs and win the business with a 3-dimensional molded insulation treatment. Our solution provides substantially improved acoustic and thermal insulation over competitive products.
