Zwei der drei genannten Anwendungen wurden mit dem <a href=\"https:\/\/altair.com\/enlighten-award\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Altair Enlighten Award<\/a> in der Kategorie <em>Einsparungen beim Fahrzeuggewicht <\/em>ausgezeichnet.<\/p>\n<p class=\"in-view\">Die j\u00fcngste Anwendung f\u00fcr die Verbundwerkstoff-Sitzr\u00fcckenlehne des Toyota Tundra\u2122 aus dem Jahr 2022 wurde in der <a href=\"https:\/\/www.compositesworld.com\/articles\/seatback-frame-demonstrates-next-generation-autocomposites-design\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">M\u00e4rzausgabe 2023 von CompositesWorld<\/a> vorgestellt. In dem Artikel wird der gesamte Prozess von der ersten Idee bis zur Markteinf\u00fchrung des Fahrzeugs des Modelljahrs 2022 erl\u00e4utert und erkl\u00e4rt, dass der Sitzrahmen der zweiten Reihe ein Schl\u00fcsselbereich war, auf den man sich konzentrieren musste, um Gewichtseinsparungen zu erzielen.<\/p>\n<p class=\"in-view\">Zu Beginn des Projekts wurden mehrere Ziele festgelegt, die zu zahlreichen Herausforderungen w\u00e4hrend des gesamten Konstruktions- und Fertigungsprozesses f\u00fchrten. Zu den Zielen geh\u00f6rten: kosteng\u00fcnstige, effiziente Fertigung, geringes Gewicht und Designflexibilit\u00e4t, um mehr Stauraum zu erm\u00f6glichen.<\/p>\n<p class=\"in-view\">Im Hinblick auf diese Ziele arbeitete Toyota mit mehreren Zulieferern zusammen, um das Projekt zu verwirklichen. Die Hauptkomponenten aus Verbundwerkstoffen wurden von <a href=\"https:\/\/www.flex-n-gate.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Flex-N-Gate<\/a>, einem Spritzgie\u00dfer, hergestellt. Das Verbundwerkstoffmaterial wurde in Zusammenarbeit mit <a href=\"https:\/\/www.basf.com\/us\/en.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">BASF<\/a> entwickelt. Und das pultrudierte System unter Verwendung von Continuous Composite Systems\u2122 (CCS\u2122) wurde von L&amp;L Products entwickelt.<\/p>\n<p class=\"in-view\">Schon fr\u00fch im Konstruktionsprozess erkannten die an dem Projekt beteiligten Ingenieure, dass die zus\u00e4tzliche Breite der Tundra-Sitzlehne eine neue Herausforderung f\u00fcr die Erf\u00fcllung der strengen Sicherheitsanforderungen von Toyota darstellen w\u00fcrde. In dem Artikel hei\u00dft es: \"Um die erforderliche Steifigkeit zu erreichen, m\u00fcsste der gesamte Sitzrahmen entweder sehr dick sein - was die Materialkosten und das Gewicht erh\u00f6hen w\u00fcrde - oder es m\u00fcsste eine Art Verst\u00e4rkungstr\u00e4ger in dem Bereich hinzugef\u00fcgt werden, der am st\u00e4rksten belastet wird.\" Ein Tr\u00e4ger machte am meisten Sinn, allerdings w\u00fcrde typischerweise ein Metallmaterial verwendet werden, was zus\u00e4tzliches Gewicht bedeutet.<\/p>\n<p class=\"in-view\"><\/p>\n<p class=\"in-view\">In dieser Phase des Prozesses wurde L&amp;L Products kontaktiert, um zu untersuchen, ob Continuous Composite Systems\u2122 (CCS\u2122) eine L\u00f6sung sein k\u00f6nnte. Obwohl CCS\u2122 bereits viele Anwendungen hatte, war es noch nie f\u00fcr eine Anwendung im Automobilinnenraum verwendet worden. Modellierung und Simulation spielten eine wichtige Rolle im Designprozess, um sicherzustellen, dass alle Ziele durch die Implementierung von CCS\u2122 in den Sitzlehnenrahmen erreicht werden.<\/p>\n<p class=\"in-view\">Hank Richardson, Product Engineering Manager von L&amp;L Products, erkl\u00e4rt, was den pultrudierten Tr\u00e4ger crashsicher macht: \"Eine Kombination aus einer auf sehr hohe Steifigkeit abgestimmten Harzchemie, durchgehenden Glaselementen f\u00fcr maximale Biegefestigkeit und einer optimierten Teilegeometrie.\"<\/p>\n<p class=\"in-view\">W\u00e4hrend des gesamten Prozesses gab es viele Herausforderungen - sei es im Zusammenhang mit der Anwendung selbst oder mit globalen und wirtschaftlichen Ereignissen - aber mit dem richtigen Team an der richtigen Stelle wurde die Anwendung zu einem mehrfach preisgekr\u00f6nten Erfolg.
