Controller Manager

Reporting to the Administrative and Financial Director, your main task consists of coordinating and supervising the management control activities of the different companies in the European region, in terms of both local and group frameworks, in order to draw up a medium-term financial vision.

You play a key role in informing stakeholders of the implementation of a numbers culture within the company, and oversee its deployment on both a departmental and cross-cutting or global level.

As a front-line colleague and true Business Partner to the operational departments, recognised within the organisation, you are a driving force for the management of group performance. You support the company’s various departments/business lines in identifying and implementing key performance indicators and tools.

Managing a team of three people, you structure the existing organisation and establish a climate of trust, by generating motivation among your teams.  To this end, you provide suggestions on different topics, such as the monitoring of budgets, margins, and any other operational decision with financial consequences; as an expert, you challenge the financial decisions of the other departments. In coordination with the Accounting Director, you carry out the monthly closure of accounts for all the companies within the EMEA region.

You ensure profitability and cash-flow targets are met by continuously improving the company’s business processes, while assisting your colleagues with change management, within a multicultural and multi-client organisation.

With a baccalaureate plus 3 to 5 years of further education, you have a minimum of eight years’ experience in industrial and sales management control, acquired within an international environment. You have good knowledge of accounting standards and information systems, and you must have good English skills. Knowledge of SAP is a bonus.

You are proactive and show initiative and the ability to manage projects. Thanks to your leadership skills, you help your team develop their skills and garner support for the projects you lead.

You are flexible and open-minded, and rely on your solid communication skills to adapt and effectively interact with a diverse range of internal and external contacts.
