Customer Service/Planning Leader

Duties / Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Develop and manage KPI’s for the team to ensure every step of the process is functioning effectively, under control and in line with expectations from the manager of the area.
  • Train, develop, mentor and assist direct reports in all aspects of planning and customer service
  • Strong relationship building with all internal and external customers and the entire supply chain to achieve the highest level of service and quality
  • Analyze forecast and ship history in addition to customer demand to understand all product production flow (compounding, manufacturing and supply base)
  • Provide the team with training to support accurate orders coming in the system (EDI, manual process, etc)
  • Drive and take steps to improve understanding of customer rules and impact in the organization to meet these rules
  • Drive and take steps to improve the coordination of the launch of new products using L&L gate process and workflows
  • Work with IT to support process improvements

Education/Experience:  

  • 5+ years supply chain experience
  • Materials management experience is a plus
