L&L Products is pleased to announce its new CCubed\u2122<\/a> technology is a Top 10 Winner of the ISPO Textrends Award in the Soft Equipment category. A panel of experts evaluated the material based on weight, durability, abrasion resistance, UV protection, and waterproofing in the product category that includes backpacks, sleeping bags, and shoes.<\/p>\n

CCubed\u2122, the innovative polyester (PET) fiber-based performance cushioning material, is engineered to optimize wearer comfort through novel sweat management.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are grateful to ISPO for recognizing CCubed\u2122 as a Top 10 Textrends award winner,\u201d said Greg Thompson, who led the development of the CCubed\u2122 technology at L&L Products. \u201cOur CCubed\u2122 technology elevates wearer comfort in a broad range of applications, including footwear, backpacks, impact padding, helmet liners, and horse blankets \u2013 in essence, anywhere that polyurethane (PU) or ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) foams are used today for cushioning.\u201d<\/p>\n

CCubed\u2122 material has a breathable 3D structure that provides cushioning, allows heat to escape, wicks sweat away from the skin, and helps create an evaporative cooling effect. Based on PET technology, the material can typically be more easily recycled or repurposed than EVA or PU foams. Unlike polyurethane foams, it contains no toxic isocyanates.<\/p>\n

The technology is featured in the ISPO award-winning backpacks from NEMO Equipment, where it\u00a0elevates the performance of the packs by providing sweat management in the back panels, shoulder straps, and hip belts.<\/p>\n

Officially launched in August 2023, CCubed\u2122 will be exhibited at ISPO Munich (Munich, Germany) on November 28-30, 2023 in the L&L Products booth.<\/p>\n
