Romeo, Michigan, May 3, 2019–L&L Products Foundation has launched a scholarship program. The Foundation was established in 2018 and will begin awarding scholarships for the first time this year.
The L&L Products Foundation Scholarship Program provides an opportunity for the spouse and children of L&L Products employees working outside of the USA to receive financial support for education. The program’s goal is to help supplement the cost of attending a college, university, technical, trade, or vocational school to prepare for a career or to enhance a current career. The program hopes to help as many worthy applicants as possible attain an education which may not have been available to them without assistance or hardship on their family.
The L&L Products Foundation was modeled on the L&L Education Foundation, a 501c3 charity, which was established in 1987 to provide educational support for L&L Products employee families in the USA. 2019 marks the L&L Educational Foundation’s program’s 32ndyear of charitable giving. Since its inception, the L&L Education Foundation Grant Program has helped over 600 individuals further their education.
“L&L Products’ corporate purpose is: ‘To be a good place for all who touch it, where quality of work, products and relationships are a priority’. These words reflect the wisdom and leadership of L&L Products’ Company Founders, Mr. Bob Ligon and Mr. Gene Lane who also established the L&L Educational Foundation. The generosity of the Ligon and Lane families is overwhelming and we are so pleased to be in a position to provide support for career preparation to L&L Products family members,” said Peggy Domenick-Muscat, President of the L&L Educational and L&L Products Foundations.
