From product design and packaging to the transportation loops needed to distribute our products, every aspect of our workflow is considered from the perspective of sustainability. Our key targets include zero waste and zero environmental incidents.

2021 Communication on progress
L&L Products has been awarded a GOLD medal by EcoVadis in 2022 in recognition of its ongoing commitment to sustainability. This puts L&L Products in the top 5% of the companies in its industry. Thanks to the commitment of our employees and management, we have increased our score in all the assessed categories: Environment, Human Rights & Labor, Ethics, and Sustainable Purchasing.
Living Our Values
L&L Products India recently teamed up with members from ANNADA NGO to provide educational and nutritional support to under privileged children who work along with their parents in the sugarcane farms in rural areas of the Maharashtra State.
As part of the initiative, employees distributed school bags with stationary items along with nutritional food kits to 134 students.
L&L Educational Foundation
L&L Foundations have provided financial support for education in the form of scholarships and grants for many years. The L&L Educational Foundation was established in 1987 by Robert M. Ligon and W. Eugene Lane, the Founders of L&L Products, to help L&L employees with the cost of adult education.
The L&L Products Foundation was established in 2018 by the Children and Grandchildren of Mr. Ligon and Mr. Lane to support L&L employees located outside of the USA.
Living Our Values
In some rural areas in India students are not able to continue their further education after 10th grade due to insufficient educational facilities and financial reasons.
With the association of Pimpri Chinchwad Education Trust (PCET) and S.B. Patil College of Science and Commerce L&L Products India launched its sustainable Corporate Social Responsibility project called “Gyan Gurukul” to make one of the best educational institutes in Pune available to the rural area students. This allows students to complete their higher secondary education free of cost.

In 2018, we joined the United Nations Global Compact, the world’s largest sustainability initiative with more than 10,000 companies that endorse the Ten Principles. Each year, we publish our Communication On Progress to transparently show the areas where we improve.
