Expanding Capabilities for the Future
With demand for its products continuing to grow, L&L Products France is undertaking a major expansion of its Altorf operations designed to support growing customer demand while strengthening the site’s position as a center of manufacturing excellence. The expansion demonstrates L&L Products’ confidence in the region and commitment to maintaining advanced manufacturing capabilities in France.
The expansion project, which begins this summer and is targeted for completion in the third quarter of 2027, represents substantial investment in advanced production capabilities and long-term industrial growth in the region.
The project will enhance production capacity while introducing advanced manufacturing technologies that will support customers across multiple industries. New capabilities planned for the site include multi-head extrusion systems for highly precise material application, high-accuracy water-jet cutting technology, automated forming and complexing lines, and highly automated production cells. Additionally, in-house tooling manufacturing will be added, supported by advanced CNC machining capabilities that provide greater flexibility and efficiency in production.
Additionally, the company expects to begin production of new products for commercial vehicle applications in late 2026, supporting major customer programs and laying the groundwork for future growth.
