L&L Products, a leading materials science and advanced engineering company with global operations, more than doubles its square footage in South Carolina by relocating to a new 84,420-square-foot facility at 425 Distribution Drive in West Columbia, S.C. The relocation is expected to increase employment at the facility by roughly 30% with most new jobs primarily in light-duty manufacturing operations.
Scheduled to be fully operational by August 2026, L&L Product’s new facility has been upgraded with 480V power capability to support production of the company’s DECI-TEX® nonwoven fiber-based acoustic and thermal technology and related products.
“I’m incredibly proud of our team and the trust our customers continue to place in L&L Products,” said John Babi, President of L&L Products Americas. “This expansion in South Carolina is an important step in growing our nonwoven capabilities and serving our customers with even greater speed and quality. We’re excited to continue building in the West Columbia community, and for the future ahead.”
Operations at the former 39,300-square-foot facility on Technology Drive in West Columbia commenced in 2012 and will begin winding down in May 2026 as equipment and personnel transition to the new site. A formal grand opening and community celebration is planned for later in 2026, with details to be announced.
