L&L Products India is proud to announce that two of its teams have received recognition at the QCFI 2026 Quality Circle Convention, continuing the company’s history of achievements at Quality Circle competitions. The awards highlight the teams’ commitment to continuous improvement, cross-functional collaboration, and innovative approaches to manufacturing excellence.
Team Pinnacle Earns Gold for Quality Improvement
The Baffle Team Pinnacle received the Gold Award for its project, “Elimination of Shrinkage Issue at the EVA Extrusion Line.”
By applying a structured problem-solving approach and implementing targeted process improvements, the team successfully reduced the overall rejection rate from 2.28% to 0.13%, eliminated shrinkage-related defects, and achieved a 96% First Time Right (FTR) rate.
These improvements also helped reduce material waste, increase manufacturing efficiency, and maintain consistent product quality.
Team ACHIEVERS Wins Bronze for Smart Manufacturing Innovation
The Insulation Team ACHIEVERS earned the Bronze Award for its project, “IT-Integrated Manufacturing for Quality Assurance.”
The team introduced a smart manufacturing solution integrating Oracle production routing with machine operations. Through QR-code-based recipe selection, automated process controls, and real-time monitoring, the initiative reduced manual operator interventions on the Thermoforming Press 500 Ton-1 machine from 17 in February 2026 to zero by June 2026.
The project also strengthened process traceability, reduced reliance on paper-based records, and improved overall quality assurance.
